About

Sparrow's Eave is a small southern company from the heart of Tennessee. Melissa & Emma work to create each piece by hand in our small bedroom studio right off the square and next to Melissa's kitchen. Sparrow's began as a side project for Melissa in 2011, and Emma joined the team in 2014. In the past two years we have grown and shifted focus to get us to where we are today. Both work full time as Mental Health Therapists during the day, and spend our evenings binge watching Netflix, eating guacamole, drinking wine, and creating jewelry.

Our style has changed and shifted through many seasons of growth, and we believe we have found our unique voice in what we create. The aesthetic goal of Sparrow's Eave is to create an overall minimal + bohemian + industrial + vintage rustic feel to our jewelry at an affordable price using as many locally sourced elements as possible. Think of it as a Scandinavian Bohemian vibe; the perfect mix of natural earthy elements and geometric design. Each piece is designed and handmade by Melissa & Emma.

We are excited to be able to bring y'all our pieces in an online forum. This is something we have worked towards for 2 years, with many trials and errors along the way. It is the next step for this small handmade company, and we are honored you are along for the ride.

Sparrow's Eave is a small southern company from the heart of Tennessee. Melissa & Emma (Emma here!) work to create each piece by hand, while managing all aspects of the business between the two of us. Mel is our numbers girl, she runs all things accounting as well as keeping up with inventory, designing booth spaces, creating displays and staying on top of all the entrepreneurial aspects of business ownership. My main focus is on website design, social media, marketing, shipping, wholesale management, customer relations, and product photography. Sparrow's began as a side project for Melissa in 2011 where she was in business with our dear friend Beth for 3 years. I joined the team in the Fall of 2014, and Beth left for graduate school mid 2015. In the past three years, we have grown and transitioned towards making this creative side hustle a full blown business. Both Mel and I work full time as mental health counselors during the day (where we are also in practice together), and spend our evenings binge watching Netflix, eating guacamole, drinking wine, and making jewelry.

Our style has changed and shifted through many seasons of growth, and we believe we have found our unique voice in what we create. The aesthetic goal of Sparrow's Eave is to create an overall minimal + modern feel to our jewelry at an affordable price using as many locally sourced elements as possible, all while keeping true to our eclectic and bohemian roots. Each piece is designed and handmade by us in our studios in Cookeville.

We are excited to be able to bring y'all our pieces in an online forum. This is something we have worked towards for 2 years, with many trials and errors along the way. It is the next step for this small handmade company, and we are honored you are here with us!
